The CS&T UV-Vis-NIR photometric transmitter line has been designed for easy integration into process monitoring equipment in upstream and downstream processes. Probes and other accessories complete the transmitters and can be customized to meet your process monitoring requirements. The PX2 series incorporates a combination of measurement methods (absorbance, fluorescence, or reflectance), single or dual wavelengths, multiple detectors (PMT, Si, InGaAs) and a variety of light source options (Xenon, LED, Tungsten Halogen) into one compact transmitter including a user-friendly touchscreen color display.

The PX2 photometer is a critical tool for any instrument needing in-line UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy. The PX2 uses a combination of measurement methods, multiple detectors, multiple light sources, and can be used to monitor multiple single or dual wavelength applications. An LED indicator light alerts the user if there is any change in the unit operating status. There is an optional software package which allows the end user to set up their sensor for optimal process measurement requirements.

About The PX2+ UV-Vis-NIR Photometric Transmitter
The PX2+ UV-Vis-NIR Photometric Transmitter allows for real-time optical measurements in upstream and downstream processes. PX2+ is available in single or dual wavelengths. Dual LED wavelengths allow for the accurate determination of protein or nucleic acid concentrations. The ability to interrogate a process stream with two wavelengths allows for the detection of low protein concentrations with one wavelength while simultaneously measuring high concentrations of a different protein (high O.D.) with the other wavelength. Dual wavelengths are also useful in determining nucleic acid to protein ratios. From absorption measurements to fluorescent detection, the applications of the PX2+ are endless!

About PX2-DIN – Condensed Packaging
The PX2-DIN-Condensed Packaging gives you all the features of the PX2 but in a significantly smaller footprint for skid manufacturing. The PX2-DIN-Condensed Packaging has an integrated DIN rail mount and has all electrical connections in the front of the unit (easy connection of electrical and fiber optic cable connections). The size is so small that it allows two PX2-DIN-Condensed Packing units to be mounted side-by-side in the same amount as space as a single PX2 unit.

About the Flow Cell Holder
The Flow Cell Holder has been designed to easily install a multi-use or single-use flow cell for bioprocess applications. The Flow Cell comes in path lengths of 1 mm, 2 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm. The Flow Cell Holder has an integrated slot to allow for cuvettes (liquid) or NIST filter standards (solid) to be placed directly in the optical path. Filter standards or cuvettes are used to add a fixed amount of absorbance to the baseline or to allow the end user to calibrate the photometric instrument without having to shut down the process flow.

About the Pressure Sensor
This rebuildable pressure sensor design brings sustainability to the forefront by eliminating the need to replace traditional single-use sensors. The process pressure sensor is designed to be cleaned, autoclaved and reused for a minimum of five autoclave cycles by simply replacing the M12 cap assembly. The pressure sensor exceeds expectations by providing accurate and repeatable measurements from -10 to 100 PSI.
