The TECNIC ePROD® GMP Bioreactor is a high-performance bioreactor designed to take microbial fermentation and cell culture to the next level. Crafted from stainless steel AISI 304 and 316L, its design prioritizes efficient culture growth and mixing, ensuring unparalleled productivity in upstream bioprocessing.
With a diameter-to-height ratio of 1:2 for cell culture and 1:3 for microbial fermentation, TECNIC’s industrial bioreactor offers versatile design options. Its large-scale variants include volumes of 100L, 200L, 400L, 1000L, 2000L, and 4000L, leading to increased efficiency and better results.
Constructed in solid AISI 316L SS frames, ePROD systems are designed for efficient culture growth in microbial and cell culture applications. Standard PLC control platforms with eSCADA ADVANCED software provide high flexibility of programing and configurations.
Multi-use GMP bioreactor systems are supplied with 316L vessels from 100 to 4000 Liters. ePROD single-use GMP systems include a dual purpose control platform which can be used on either microbial or cell culture applications with SUV in the 100 to 1000L range.
Precise analytical measurements of pH, DO, temperature and antifoam level are standard. Optional dCO2, biomass and off gas measurements. Fully configurable for mammalian or microbial cultures. A 400W Servomotor drive provides precise speed control allowing efficient mixing for optimal performance.

- Standard ports for exhaust connection, overlay gas entrance, pH/pO2/Temperature sensors and liquid transfer or sampling
- Flexible bag design allows customization to fit specific process requirements
Five Layer Film structure serves a specific function to optimize product integrity, durability, longevity and sterility:
- Layer 1: (50 um) Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) provides mechanical strength and resistance to external factors
- Layer 2: (10 um) Thermoplastic Interlayer Elastomer (TIE) bonding layer for structural integrity preventing delamination
- Layer 3: (20 um) Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (EOH) gas barrier
- Layer 4: (10 um) Second Thermoplastic Interlayer Elastomer (TIE) as bonding layer
- Layer 5: (230 um) Ultralow-Density Polyethylene (ULPDE) in direct contact with process liquids. Provides a Toxic-Free biocompatible environment.
